A Comic Book from the Feds about Recovery from Addiction and Mental Health Disorders
The
federal government, specifically the Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Services Administration, has developed an educational comic book
entitled People Recover,
that "uses a comic book format to tell the story of people who are
dealing with co-occurring disorders. [It ...] presents a hopeful message
of recovery for people with a substance use disorder and mental
illness, and provides resources for more information." The publication
is free and can be downloaded as a pdf here. As always, comments are welcomed. Jan Edward Williams, 06/25/2013.
